When Will Photonic Quantum Supercomputers Go Underground?
A comparison between photonic quantum computing and established platforms such as trapped-ion and superconducting systems. Cosmic-ray-induced errors can lead to qubit state flips, motivating the deployment of quantum processors in deep-underground environments.
